Luigi's is back in all new adventure, it has been 12 years since we saw last Luigi's Mansion. Those who have played the first Luigi's Mansion will have a familiar feel to the game from vacuuming ghosts and solving hidden puzzles. The game plays really well both in 3D and without 3D option, the controls are very smooth and fluent. This iteration on Luigi's Mansion is a lot bigger around this time, more ghosts, more difficult puzzles and different mansions. The game starts you off with Luigi being called in by Professor E Gadd who has been working on harnessing the ghost supernatural powers. When things go awry it's up to our hero Luigi to figure out what's going with all of the ghost.
Luigi's Mansion Looks Great both in 3D and without the 3D. Personally, I've never been a fan of the 3D option. It gives me a major headache after a couple minutes of gameplay while chasing down ghosts and trying to vacuum them. What made the 3D very irritating is that you had to be looking straight at the screen, if you had just slights tilt on the console you would be seeing multiples of any on screen action. I usually leave the 3D feature off and the graphics of the game would still look amazing with vibrant colors. There were those occasional times where the secret money you would find it self float into place you couldn't reach but other that the game was well polished.
The plot of the story was alright, but the more I get into the game the more I'm interested. I couldn't help myself while trying to figure out the main mission, I tend to vacuum, shining the white light from the vacuum, and the black light feature in every spot and every room. It always leaves to secret items and secret passages. It usually ends up with money, secret keys, or the Dark Moon Gem. Altogether this is a great game with plenty of replayability to try to get three stars all of levels or find all the secret Boo's. Luigi's been in the shadow of his brother, Mario for way too long. It's great to see him star in his own game. If you needed a to game for your 3DS this would be a perfect title to add to your library of games.
