I am sorry Microsoft but the Xbox One does not seem like a good fit for me...at least according to the reveal announcement.
NFL? TV channels? Browser? Blu-ray? Okay, those are neat features I won't be using much but I do like options so just okay.
So let's talk about games.
EA has a new engine which should be impressive if it wasn't shown like pre-conceive motions and animations. It looked like straight CG. They talked about the new AI, the thinking process of the sport, and the motion of the player. Showed nothing on the subject. Boo.
You show me a graphic/visuals demo of cars racing with Forza 5. Looks decently detailed.
It wouldn't blow anyone's mind.
How about Quantum Break? A trailer which majority of it was shot with real-life video capturing. My first thought: "Didn't Resident Evil do this like 15 years ago?" Not impressed.
Oh...Call of Duty?
Attention grabbed!
I already saw Battlefield 4's trailer...wait...I meant BATTLEFIELD 4!!!! That trailer aka gameplay was soooo sick so the bar has been risen but I have high hopes from Infinity Ward.
And then...
That's it? Words flashing on a screen...then clips of stuff happening with the camera follows the player. Absolutely no footage from the player's eye (aka FPS)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clips were so fast I thought they were trying to hide something...like an unfinished engine or tweaked gameplay/bad performance, etc.
Eh, at least I can switch to TV on the fly when I'm unimpressed with the video games.
"Xbox, show me more"
