Its official! The next installment in the Batman: Arkham franchise is going to be Batman: Arkham Origins. The game is still in development and is scheduled for a October 25th release date this year. Origins is set to appear on all major game consoles as of now but there still isn't a confirmation if its going to hit the next gen consoles as well so well be keeping a close eye on that. One of the major differences this time around is that Rocksteady Studios is not going to be developing this game. Warner Bros. Games Montreal decided to take the rains this time around, but have chosen to keep similar assets of the game so there wont be much of difference in developers. They are still going to be using the Unreal engine. So far from what we know about the game is going to take place before the two prior titles, and is going to have a young Batman encountering villains we have seen before.
There are other devices as well that will be carrying Arkham origins such as handheld versions of the game for the Nintendo 3DS and as well for the PS Vita. I believe the game will be called batman Arkham black gate or something.
