After the April 24th date was rumored to be set for a public announcement of the next Xbox, there is now updated information on this rumor that the date has been postponed. This can me two different things:
A. They are taking more time to get the announcement set and accurate details about what to reveal.
B. They are not ready because they are bumping into demo/tech problems and may think about changing certain features.
Some things to take note is the amount of time delayed: a month. That's plenty of time to refine the entire show/announcement as well as get better game play demos. Also, May 21st is mighty close to E3, one of biggest days of the year for the industry.
How will the public react to an Internet only device? $500 price point? Required subscription? A silly name like Xbox 720? (Well, they did accept Wii-U...) -_-
Only time will tell.
